Hi, I’m Brittany

Smiling woman in a purple lace top and light blue pants sitting on a leafy wooden deck beside a rustic stone wall.

I am a mother of two, wife, sister, daughter, auntie, friend, social worker, advocate, yogi, singer/song writer and a survivor! I have suffered through and overcome adversity. From living in poverty to coping with my father’s incarceration and healing from unpredictable living conditions. I was the kid of a convict, never really knowing where home was. I know what suffering feels like!

I have felt lost, betrayed, judged, stuck, fearful of the future and hopeless. I have suffered from crippling anxiety and PTSD. Feeling as if there was no way out. I’m here to tell you,

YOU CAN FIND FREEDOM!

Over time I became aware of the power of the mind. Our thoughts create our reality and tell us stories. Many of which are not true. I have learned if we can control our thoughts we then gain control over our lives. I believe you must be your own hero in your story. We cannot change our past, but we do not have to continue to live there.

YOU ARE NOT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES!

In my free time I enjoy being outside, hiking, exploring national parks, yoga, traveling, writing songs and being with my family.

Sometimes the Pain guides us to our Purpose.
